Ecological and Energy Transition Reconciling industrial performance with environmental impact

Adopting an Ecological and Energy Transition approach reduces an industrial site’s environmental footprint by optimising resources and promoting renewable energy. It also lowers long-term costs through greater energy efficiency and reduced waste.

The environment benefits from enhanced preservation, employees contribute to an inspiring initiative, and the company strengthens its reputation and overall sustainability.

Our convictions

Reconcile economic performance with environmental impact

Integrating environmentally responsible practices makes it possible to combine profitability and responsibility. By making greater use of renewable resources and reducing waste, companies can optimise production costs while actively helping to preserve ecosystems.

Foster a collective and inspiring dynamic

Engaging employees in an environmental approach fosters their involvement and commitment. By raising awareness of environmental challenges, the company strengthens their sense of belonging, encourages innovation, and builds a shared purpose—laying the foundation for a sustainable and meaningful organization.

Deliver a sustainable transition that supports economic efficiency

Cost reduction starts with optimized management of resources and industrial processes. By limiting energy waste, recovering and repurposing waste, and integrating low-carbon technologies, companies can significantly reduce their operating costs. These savings, both immediate and sustainable, strengthen competitiveness while reducing exposure to fluctuations in energy and raw material prices.

Strengthen customer trust and loyalty

Adopting a sustainable strategy is a key driver of long-term customer loyalty, as customers are increasingly attentive to corporate ethics. This transparency strengthens trust, enhances brand reputation, and positions the company as a forward-thinking and responsible industry leader.

Safeguard long-term viability through sustainable innovation

By investing in environmentally responsible technologies and processes, companies can anticipate regulatory and societal changes. This proactive strategy helps maintain competitiveness, reduce risks, and strengthen the company’s position as a leader in an ever-evolving market.

Case study

Food & Beverage Industry

Ensuring sustainable competitiveness in the face of the energy transition through managerial and technological levers.

  • For this client in the food and beverage industry, we intervened at the very beginning of the project, during the definition of the strategic ambition and the structuring and prioritization of the work packages. This included defining objectives and business cases, assessing gains and ROI, developing the roadmap, and supporting the preparation of the full set of documentation required for group approval. Once the project was approved, we supported the implementation of the project governance structure and steering bodies to deliver on the project’s commitments.

We rely on the four Lean principles to deploy a SYSTEMIC and BALANCED Operational Excellence approach, transforming ORGANIZATION and management practices, PROCESSES, PROGRESS MANAGEMENT, and resource utilization, while meeting customer expectations (the right product, at the required quality, in the right quantity, at the right time).

    • Reduce environmental impact: Develop a culture focused on the customer and increase value creation.
    • Identify Muda alongside teams: Develop a “shop-floor” perspective, where work is carried out with those who know it best.
    • Unlock all sources of savings and eliminate all forms of waste.
    • Raise awareness of environmental challenges: Build more responsible and autonomous teams.

  • 80% reduction in CO₂ emissions and 25% reduction in electricity consumption, through heat-and-cold cogeneration and the reduction of fossil fuel use.
  • An Operational Performance Management system.
  • A proactive management approach.
  • Deployment of the organization (new RACI), management behaviors, and processes to support greater resource efficiency.
  • Improved management of utilities and associated action plans.
